Blue skies over the Namekagon

The weather forecaster predicted temperatures in the low thirties and the possibility of snow flurries. Boy was he wrong.

Luke and I fished the Namekagon River with nothing but sunny, blue skies overhead. There was a slight breeze in the air but this did not detract from a wonderful day spent casting nymphs into the cold and clear waters of the river.

Luke and I walked up river in search of browns. It was only when we returned to a run which was within sight of the car that Luke caught a beauty of a brown. I should also mention that it was on his first drift through that he caught the brown. She was a beauty, that's for sure...
